The agreement between Half Baked CBD and anyone who browses the workshop or places an order, written in human language and with your legal rights left fully intact.

The compact version
The full contract follows. These are the promises that carry most of the weight.
The amount charged comes from the protected product catalogue, not values that can be changed inside a browser.
Nothing here removes rights relating to faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or unsuitable goods.
Eligible consumers normally have 14 days after delivery to tell us they have changed their mind.
They are not offered to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.
The trader at the gate
These terms apply when a consumer uses this website or buys goods from Half Baked CBD. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean the legal person or business trading as Half Baked CBD.
Please read these terms before ordering. The terms in force when we accept an order form part of that contract. The Privacy Policy, Shipping & Returns Policy and any product-specific instructions shown before checkout also apply.
Nothing in these terms affects rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Who may trade
Our shop policy is that CBD products may be ordered only by people aged 18 or over.
The current checkout accepts only delivery locations and services shown as available during checkout.
You must provide complete, current contact, delivery and payment information and be authorised to use the payment method.
We may use reasonable age-verification or fraud-prevention checks. We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe the purchaser is under 18, information is false, payment is unauthorised, the order is unlawful or the goods are intended for resale without agreement.
What leaves the workshop
We take reasonable care to describe products, ingredients, size, CBD content, intended use and price accurately. Handmade goods may have small natural variations in colour, scent, texture or appearance. Those variations are not faults where the product remains as described and fit for its ordinary purpose.
We may correct obvious product-page errors, update packaging, withdraw goods or suspend sales where needed for safety, quality, supplier, legal or regulatory reasons. A material change will not be imposed on an order already accepted without your agreement.
How the bargain is made
Submitting checkout is your offer to buy the listed goods at the displayed total.
A payment or order receipt confirms that the request reached us. It is not necessarily acceptance.
The contract is formed when we send dispatch confirmation, unless we clearly accept earlier. If we cannot accept, we refund any captured payment.
Reasons we may be unable to accept an order include:
Keep the order confirmation and reference. Contact us promptly if any detail is wrong.
Coin at the counter
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it is chargeable. Delivery charges, discounts and the final total are shown before you place the order. Optional extras are not added unless you actively select them.
The checkout server recalculates product prices and delivery from its protected catalogue. A price changed inside browser tools, a copied old page or a technical display error does not bind us. Where an error is not obvious and we have already accepted the order, we will honour the accepted price unless the law allows otherwise.
| Payment stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Authorisation or capture | Stripe or PayPal may authorise or collect payment when checkout is submitted. |
| Verification | We verify the payment result, amount, currency, product list and delivery details on the server. |
| Failure or refusal | If payment fails, is reversed, appears unauthorised or does not match the order, we do not have to dispatch the goods. |
| Refund | Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method unless another lawful arrangement is agreed. |
Payment providers may carry out their own security, sanctions, fraud and identity checks under their terms and privacy notices.
Across the heather
Available services, charges and estimates are shown at checkout and explained in the Shipping & Returns Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date.
Inspect the parcel reasonably soon after arrival. Report visible transit damage, leakage, missing items or an incorrect item promptly, ideally with the order reference and clear photographs. A reporting request does not remove statutory rights.
Changing your mind
Consumers buying online normally have the right to cancel an eligible order from the time the contract is made until 14 days after the day the goods are delivered. Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel. You then normally have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
Send the cancellation before the legal cancellation period ends.
Send eligible goods back within 14 days after telling us.
We refund eligible sums using the original payment method, subject to the rules below.
We may withhold the refund until the goods arrive back or you provide evidence of return, whichever occurs first. Refund timing and the return address are explained in the Shipping & Returns Policy.
Optional model wording
Complete and send this only when you wish to cancel an eligible consumer contract.

When something is wrong
Goods must meet the legal standards that apply, including being of satisfactory quality, fit for their ordinary or agreed purpose and as described. Your remedies may include rejection and refund, repair, replacement or a price reduction depending on the circumstances and timing.
The change-of-mind exceptions above do not remove rights relating to faulty, unsafe, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods. Contact Send a Raven with the order reference and a clear explanation. Do not dispose of the item unless safety requires it or we agree.

Offers, stock and limits
Reasonable household purchase limits may be applied to protect stock, safety or fair access.
The map, marks and machinery
The site, written copy, illustrations, characters, badges, logos, product photography, layout, code and other original material belong to us or are used with permission. You may browse, print or save reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use connected with an order.

External links are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party content, availability, terms or privacy practices.
Where responsibility rests
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses where you bought as a consumer. Nothing prevents you taking reasonable steps to reduce avoidable loss.
Events outside reasonable control may delay performance. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect, keep you informed and provide any cancellation or refund right required by law.
Putting things right
Contact us through Send a Raven and include the order reference, the outcome sought and any useful evidence. We will acknowledge and investigate the complaint fairly. If we cannot resolve it, we will provide any alternative dispute-resolution information that the law requires at that time.
We may update these terms for future orders when the business, website, products, providers or law changes. The version applying to an order is normally the one presented when that order was placed, unless a change is required by law or you agree otherwise.
If a court finds part of these terms unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. We may transfer the contract to another organisation only where this does not reduce your rights. You may transfer your rights where the law permits or with our agreement.
These terms are governed by Scots law. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections of the law where you live. Proceedings may be brought in the courts of the UK nation where you live, and we may also bring proceedings there.

The official signposts
Consumer and CBD rules can change. Official guidance outranks copied shop policies, forum lore and any raven wearing a powdered wig.
Still tangled?
Send the order reference and a plain description of the problem. The right remedy is easier to find when the facts arrive together.
